Child and Babysitter Safety Certification

Our Child and Babysitting Safety Certification gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. From getting started with their business, to dealing with parents and children, to key safety and caregiving tips. This course is designed for teens and young adults interested in a babysitting business, or who have responsibility for younger family members. Included in this training will be CPR/ AED and Basic First Aid certification. Please note: This class is open to non-High Meadow Students and bussing is available from Rondout.



About Bill Brantmeyer: Bill is the Health and Safety Officer at High Meadow School. He has been a certified Firefighter/ Paramedic since 2002. He is credentialed through the American Health and Safety Institute to teach: Advanced Cardiac Life Support; Pediatric Advanced Life Support; Emergency Medical Response; Advanced First Aid; BLS; Basic First Aid; CPR/AED; Wilderness First Aid; Bloodborne Pathogens; Emergency Oxygen Admin; Child/Babysitting Safety, and Pediatrics.
