"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead

The purpose of The Earth Club is to create awareness of environmental issues, such as protection, conservation, preservation, and restoration, with an emphasis on educating and empowering students. Meeting weekly, students will come together to learn about, lead and participate in environmental activities and take personal action to contribute to climate change mitigation. The Club members are trained to become youth leaders who connect through formal efforts with other schools and external organizations to create awareness about the environmental related issues threatening our environment. We will also have guest speakers join us from local environmental organizations. This club is open to all students (4th - 8th grade) not just those who attend High Meadow.
