Tools for Teens and Tweens: A Stress Relief Retreat
Monday - Friday: 9AM – 3PM July 27th - July 31st
In this week-long retreat, teens and tweens will be presented with tools and techniques designed to reduce stress and increase a sense of feeling relaxed, in control and connected to oneself and others. Participants will gain knowledge and skills on how to cope with the pressures and stress of everyday life. Mornings will be spent experiencing yoga, aromatherapy, and mindfulness. They will then be led in journaling and writing exercises in nature on our 3-acre campus. In the afternoons, our topic will be healthy nutrition, and our facilitator will lead the group in creating recipes that feed the mind, body, and soul. Through practices and exercises developed just for tweens and teens, participants have the opportunity to learn how to navigate the emotional ups and downs of life with greater ease.
